Technological Innovation:
Overcoming Complex Scenario Challenges to Build Full-Chain Technical Barriers
Timing well with the key milestone of the "First Year of Robot Mass Production," this Dexterous Hand Competition serves as China's first professional contest focusing on robot end-effector technologies. It has become an important milestone in Shenzhen's journey to build a "Global Innovation Hub for the Robotics Industry".
In the competitive division, Cedarobo focused on long-horizon operational tasks under "on-demand delivery scenarios". Powered by high-DOF dexterous hands, proprietary VLA model technology, and RoboSense's Active Camera sensor fusion system, the robot successfully completed a series of coherent, high-difficulty tasks, including bimanual cooperative unpacking and sorting, as well as precise delivery in dynamic environments.
Notably, the competition specifically designed a real, open-environment track filled with complex distractions such as pedestrian traffic, thoroughly testing Cedarobo's accuracy, stability, and environmental adaptability. Pushing the technological limits in on-demand delivery scenarios within complex environments, Cedarobo ultimately secured the championship with a decisive advantage.
This event fully demonstrated the hardcore technical capabilities of Cedarobo:
Multimodal data collection
Efficient edge deployment
Few-shot generalization
"One-brain multi-body" flexibility
Continuous evolution capabilities
These core strengths enable robots to independently execute long-horizon, complex mobile manipulation tasks, forming a complete end-to-end technological barrier from foundational technologies to real-world applications.

At the award ceremony, Cai Youfei, CEO of Cedarobo, stated:
"We are currently in an era transitioning toward 'intelligent autonomy,' where embodied intelligence serves as the core force reshaping human-robot interaction and industrial value. The evolution of embodied intelligence is never about a breakthrough in a single technology point, but rather a systematic engineering effort integrating foundational core technology, scenario applications, and industrial ecosystem collaboration. Deeply rooted in Shenzhen while expanding globally, Cedarobo will foster an open and collaborative industrial ecosystem to help lead China's embodied intelligence technology onto the global stage."
Capital Backing:
100-Million RMB Funding Round Accelerates Real-World Deployment
Additionally, Cedarobo recently announced the completion of a new funding round worth hundreds of millions of yuan, co-led by Inno Angel Fund and Kinzon Capital, marking a brand-new accelerated phase in Cedarobo's expansion in embodied intelligence.
The completion of this round provides ample capital support for subsequent R&D, product iterations, and market expansion. More importantly, it signals high capital market recognition of Cedarobo's roadmap, serving as strong validation of both its technical value and industrial prospects.
Behind this strong momentum lies the solid backing of a top-tier team. Core members of Cedarobo graduated from premier Chinese universities—such as Tsinghua, Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology—and held key roles in core departments at industry leaders like DJI, Huawei, Tencent, XPeng, and RoboSense. Cedarobo possesses full-stack R&D capabilities across complete robot design, AI foundation models, high-speed vision systems, and high-coordination control systems with multi-DOF, providing a strong guarantee for technological innovation and market execution.
Promising Future:
Anchoring Industrial Blueprints to Support Shenzhen as a Global Innovation Hub
China's "15th Five-Year Plan" explicitly highlights the proactive arrangement of future-oriented industries like embodied intelligence to cultivate new drivers of economic growth. Shenzhen has already established a robust robotics landscape structured around "One Bay, One Valley, One Port, One Arena, and One District," continually refining its industrial ecosystem and fostering vibrant innovation.
Standing at a new starting point, Cedarobo will leverage its championship victory and new funding as dual catalysts. Driven by technological innovation and financial support, Cedarobo will continue to deepen its roots in embodied intelligence, breaking the boundaries of human-robot interaction through extreme technical breakthroughs and advancing the large-scale deployment of smart robots across broader scenarios.
Concurrently, Cedarobo will integrate deeply into Shenzhen's robotics ecosystem, contributing core strength to help Shenzhen build a global innovation hub for dexterous hands and intelligent robotics while leading the high-quality growth of China's embodied intelligence industry.
